At our June meeting we welcomed Sarah Rundle, storyteller. Her theme was Women who bore through walls and she told us stories from Renaissance Italy, Morocco and from 18th century England. The stories told tales of women imprisoned by jealous spouses who tunnelled their way to freedom and survived and thrived. Members made an enthusiastic audience and energetically joined in with the musical accompaniment.

Our birthday member June shared her wonderful cakes with us. Next meeting afternoon tea!
