The AGM was at the beginning of the meeting and we heard comprehensive reports from the secretary and treasurer. Yvette Rathbone, our WI Adviser took over proceedings for the elections of the committee and the president. Our new Committee is Rosemary Pettman (President) Chris Randall (Secretary) Nina Jewell (Treasurer), Mary Coutts, Norma Barnes and Joan Prasad. Our thanks to Gill Whitney and Diane Morrison for their valuable contributions over the years. Thank you for showing your confidence in the committee as we serve you for another year. Yvette judged the competition, congratulations to Jaqui for the oldest item. It was interesting to see the variety of items that members came up with and the stories behind them. It was also interesting to realise how welsh our membership is! We celebrated with tea and biscuits – delicious!
